Good morning, all! Today’s post will be dedicated to nailfail. Cowboy and I needed mani/pedis. Yes, Cowboy loves a good pedicure and his love for flip flops demands it so after work we found the nearest non-busy salon and plopped our feet in. He loves to pick the colors and hates when the colors I choose are too dark or not feminine enough (according to him). One of my favorite shades is Lincoln Park after Dark. It’s a sinful dark burgundy, but he hates it. So we opted for a brighter pink and he insisted I get some kind of design rodeo themed. I’m pretty sure after the design request, King Jefferson was making yesterday, she’s never going to ask anyone if they want a design on their nails. His first request was a horse. She just shook her head. Then he said ok, how about a cowboy hat (I’m thinking, she’s not a face painting artist for a reason,… LOL!). She asked that we draw it, but I’m so not an artist so I google image searched for something pretty elementary. This is what she thought looked appropriate….

WTH? After that, Cowboy still wanted her to do a longhorn on my thumbs, again, pretty easy right?

    Not so much, ma’am.

I’m still not sure what that is. It looks like a sad dog with earrings. I really wanted them to paint Cowboy’s nails after that business.

In other news, yesterday was the anniversary of when we met. 5 years ago yesterday, I met Mr. Jefferson aka Cowboy. We celebrated by going to our favorite Thai restaurant next door. I love that place. Ka Pao Basil for the win. Our 3 year wedding anniversary is coming up and I was so glad he remembered that date.

As a follow up to my last post, my bloodwork came back normal. Hallelujah. The doctor was very pleased and attributed it to recent weight loss. Delightful! The ultrasound was to check for any other signs of liver malfunction but he hasn’t received those results yet. I have another follow-up appointment scheduled with him next month. Relief on a Friday!
